State Scholarship Portal for Post Matric Scholarship

An Integrated State Scholarship Portal (SSP) is developed by Center for e-Governance, Government of Karnataka  for sanctioning of Post-Matric Scholarship under various Schemes of Government of Karnataka.

SSP does Direct Benefit Transfer into Aadhaar seeded account of the student. Students should apply through integrated State Scholarship Portal via URL: https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in

e-Attestation

e-Attestation is the method of getting a document attested from the attestation authorities using the e-Attestation software.

Documents:

One or more of the following may be required (Refer scheme eligibility) to be attested for Post-Matric Scholarship:

  • Study/Bonafide Certificate
  • Marks Card
  • Fees Receipt   
  • Kin of Defense Personnel Certificate
  • Hostel Stay Certificate          
  • Salary Certificate of the Parents
  • Check the website for the list of documents to be attested for your course.

How to get e-Attestation done?

  1. Visit https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in
  2. Click on e-Attestation.
  3. Enter your Aadhaar details.
  4. Select your College & Course details.
  5. For Hostel document, enter your hostel details.
  6. Upload and enter the details of the document to be attested
  7. Click on Submit.
  8. After submission of online Application go to the E-attestation officer (Available at the College) with the original documents for attestation.
  9. Submit the signed Aadhaar consent form to e-Attestation officer (Download the format).

Who can Apply for Post-Matric Scholarship?

  • Should be a resident of Karnataka.
  • Studying in any course after class 10.
  • Student’s family income must be within the eligible limit.
  • Students belonging to SC/ST/Minorrties Community/Kin of Defense personnel (Technical Education).
  • Visit portal for eligibility criteria.

How to apply for Post-Matric Scholarship in SSP portal?

  • Visit https://ssp.karnataka.gov.in
  • Create your SSP Account with your Aadhaar details & Mobile Number.
  • Select your College and Course details.
  • Enteryour parent’s/Guardian’s Aadhaar details.
  • Enter your Caste, Income Certificate RDnumbers.
  • Enteryour e-Attested documents numbers.
  • Visit website for instruction manual, video tutorial and FAQs.

Please Note:

Please get your documents e-Attested before you apply for scholarship.

Ensure that your Aadhaar number is seeded to your bank account for receiving the scholarship.
